| What is a HispaBrick? |
Hispabrick is an event organised by and for Spanish fans of LEGO® constructions, in which many activities are organised, all related to building with LEGO®.
Some of the activities that take place during these events are:
Exhibition of constructions made with LEGO® bricks.
All the constructions made by the participants are exhibited in order to show visitors all the different constructions that can be made with LEGO® bricks. From small representations to
enormous displays, robots, space crafts, vehicles, etc., a long list of constructions made with elements from the different product lines of LEGO®, built by the participants in the event.
Building competitions.
Construction activities during the event, for both the attending public – with a special emphasis on the younger ones – and other more complex challenges for attendants.
Talks.
Talks given by the participants and guests, related to different aspects of building or other things related to LEGO®. Attendance is free for both participants and visitors of the event.
AFOL Activities.
There are also a number of activities that are organised exclusively for the participants in the event. These include presentations of new product designs, talks, swapping of bricks and other activities of the HispaLUG community.
In short, Hisapbrick is meeting of fans of LEGO® constructions, in which fans can show some of their best constructions to the general public and share in a number of activities with other members of the HispaLUG community.
EuroLUG Event.
In 2010 Hispabrick is designated as EuroLUG event. EuroLUG missions are to make local events grow around Europe,
give recommendations and guidance to local LUGs when organizing local events (support) and establish and elaborate contacts between the local
LEGO offices and the approved LUG in the area, so that local events can be coordinated.
